Lake Livingston is a large lake with plenty to do. You and your family can enjoy fishing, boating, sailing, jet skis, and swimming. In addition, there are numerous other businesses around the lake to cater to your enjoyment.


If you enjoy the outdoors then there a numerous opportunities for fishing. Lake livingston has a thriving population of Large Mouth Bass, White Bass, Stripe Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. You can easily catch your limit and enjoy fishing for both sport and food.


The lake is large enough for both fishing, sport, and recreation. Below find some resources to either launch your own boat or rent a boat to enjoy your stay.

    • Blanchard Park
      • From Livingston take FM 2457 all the way to the end of the road
    • Point Blank Public Ramp
      • In Point Blank -- Going east on 190, turn right on FM 156.  At intersection go straight to the boat ramp
    • Patrick’s Ferry
      • On Highway 190 outside of Onalaska
    • Paul Cauthan Public Ramp
      • From Trinity take Texas 94 East approximately 3 miles and cross the bridge.  Boat Ramp is on the right.
    • Riverside Public Ramp
      • In Riverside -- Take Texas 19 north 10 miles.  Boat ramp is on the right before the bridge
    • Tigerville Park
      • From Livingston take FM 2457, turn left on FM 3126 to the park


Take a conoe trip on Lake Livingston and enjoy the peace of being away from the cell phone, email, and an over-bearing boss breathing down your neck. Get away from it all and enjoy the natural wildlife on the lake. You will see many varieties of birds, wildlife, and may even get to see a gator or two.
